Special thanks to Edible Arrangements on Glisan in Portland OR for the Fruit
Bouquet in our Hospitality Room

Lady Dress Up was delighted to have attended the 2008 Fun-Vention in Portland,
OR, Sept. 5-7th., and also assist as a volunteer in the Hospitality Suite on
Thursday, Friday and Saturday, providing 200 home made scones and cookies.

Lady Dress Up donated a basket-full of items with a value of over $800.00.
The items in the basket were all donated by:  Lady Dress Up, Recollections,
Elsie Massey and Kirks Folly.

The basket was raffled and all monies from the ticket sales were donated to the
Fun-Vention. Lady Dress Up nor any of its suppliers received any money from
this raffle or any of its contents.

Thank you to Gretchen and Lady Dress Up.

Our wonderful Vendors donated items that were given as door prizes.  Thank
you everyone!!!

Two beautiful quilts handmade by Marlene Shirey and sponsored by
Consolidated Supply Co of Tigard Or were raffled on Sunday morning. Thank
you for your generous contributions.

Also, at every meal was a gift of some sort.  Friday night each lady received 50's
candy and either a shoe/purse or red hat with a card about a woman in history
clipped to the top.  Saturday a.m. we played the penny game where one lucky
woman won a gift.  Saturday evening a wrapped gift was at each place setting
and on Sunday everyone received a large chocolate bar with places of interest
in Portland on the wrapper.
